Was is an accidental upload? What was going through Chevrolet’s social media account after posting this image?

Social media is a great way for car manufacturers to tell stories and share information about their cars. With over 22 million followers on Facebook, it’s Chevrolet’s largest social media site and one of the quickest and easiest ways for their media team to gain attention towards new car releases, press images and advertisements.

We’re not quite sure what happened to the quality of this image when it was posted over ten years ago. Was it a Facebook bug? An accidental upload? Were they intending to use it for a “guess that pixelated image” quiz? (In that case, Camaro SS! We win!) Or maybe they were hinting at “low compression”… – We’ll just say, its certainly gaining some attention.
